Orchid Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Orchid mobile application, website, and related services (the “Services”). Orchid is operated by Akina Technologies, PBC, doing business as Orchid (“Orchid,” “Orchid Platform”, “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Orchid. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement.
The Orchid Platform
Orchid is a private, values-aligned platform designed to support women’s growth, connection, and self-direction through community features and optional AI-assisted tools.
Account Registration and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
Community Standards and Acceptable Use
You agree to use Orchid lawfully and respectfully. You may not harass or harm others, post unlawful or misleading content, misuse the platform for unauthorized commercial activity, or attempt to interfere with or reverse engineer Orchid’s systems or AI.
User Content
You retain ownership of the content you create. By posting content on Orchid, you grant Orchid a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and use that content solely for operating and improving the Services.
Privacy
Your use of Orchid is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information.
AI-Powered Features
Orchid includes AI-powered features intended to support reflection, organization, and personalization. AI outputs are informational only and do not constitute medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
Subscriptions and Billing
Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the applicable app marketplace or platform. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are governed by the policies of the platform through which you subscribed. Orchid does not provide refunds except where required by law.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. Orchid may suspend or terminate access to the Services if these Terms are violated or misuse is suspected.
Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Orchid makes no warranties regarding outcomes, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orchid will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services.
Arbitration and Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You and Orchid waive any right to a jury trial. Small claims matters may be brought in an appropriate court.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
